The optoNCDT 1710-50 long-range laser sensors are designed for large measurement distances combined with high precision. The optoNCDT 1710-1000 sensors are used for measuring ranges up to 1000 mm. Both series measure distances without contact against a wide variety of material surfaces. Unlike conventional laser triangulation sensors, long-range sensors measure over a large distance from the target and are therefore better protected against possible collisions. The integrated RTSC enables precise measurements even on changing surfaces.
