Top-Exit Connector / Integral-Cable Versions – 500 mV/g Output.
Engineered for budget-conscious condition-monitoring programs, the CTC AC153 Series couples exceptional low-frequency performance with the rugged reliability found in CTC’s premium lines. A high output of 500 mV/g and a flat amplitude response that starts at 0.1 Hz capture the ultra-slow vibration signatures produced by sleeve bearings, large gears and other low-speed assets—long before faults escalate into costly downtime. The shear-mode PZT sensing element is hermetically welded inside a 316L stainless-steel case, delivering outstanding cross-axis rejection, corrosion resistance and IP68 submersibility to 60 m, all while keeping purchase cost and total cost of ownership to a minimum.
Despite its value price, the AC153 is no lightweight on specifications: it provides broadband coverage to 10 kHz (±3 dB) for bearing-fault and gear-mesh detection, survives 1 000 g mechanical shock, and offers <2 s electrical settling time for fast route-based data collection. The sensor operates from any IEPE supply (18-30 V DC, 2-10 mA) and is available with a robust 2-pin MIL-C-5015 top connector or integral/armored cable assemblies. Each unit ships with an NIST-traceable calibration and is backed by CTC’s unconditional lifetime warranty.
