The Truflo® TIM | TI3M Series is a digital insertion paddle wheel flow meter sensor designed for accurate, long-term liquid flow measurement in full pipes, particularly well suited to larger line sizes where insertion technology provides practical installation and cost advantages. Covering ½” to 24″ pipe sizes (DN15 to DN600), the sensor operates across a wide velocity range of 1–33 ft/s (0.3–10 m/s) and is specified with ±0.5% of full-scale linearity and ±0.5% repeatability at 25°C (77°F). A vivid dual LED display provides local indication of flow rate and flow totalizer, supporting quick verification and easier commissioning in the field.

Engineered for industrial ruggedness and longevity, the TIM | TI3M platform uses Truflo’s ShearPro® contoured paddle wheel design to reduce turbulence and drag (referenced as 78% less drag than legacy flat paddle designs), helping extend rotor life while maintaining stable measurement. Wetted components include an ETFE (Tefzel®) paddle and micro-polished zirconium ceramic (ZrO₂) rotor pin/bushings for excellent wear and chemical resistance. Integration is flexible, with pulse, 4–20 mA, and optional 0–5 V voltage outputs, plus clear wiring via M12 quick connection or cable-grip terminals. Installation is supported by Truflo’s broad range of ANSI and DIN fittings (tees, clamp-on saddles, weld-on and glue-on adapters), and the platform includes a double O-ring seal for secure insertion mounting.
