HLC 400 Marine And Offshore Level Probe

The HLC 400 uses a capacitive ceramic sensing element to measure hydrostatic pressure and convert it into an accurate liquid level signal. Developed for service and storage tanks, the probe is particularly suited to challenging marine and offshore duties where dependable performance, resistance to overpressure and long term measurement stability are required. Its compact 39.5 mm diameter construction supports installation in ballast tanks, storage tanks and other submerged level monitoring locations.

The stainless steel 316L housing is available with an optional CuNi10Fe1Mn housing for improved resistance to seawater. A choice of ceramic diaphragm, seal and mounting options enables the HLC 400 to be configured for a wide variety of compatible fluids and operating conditions. The probe is available with 4 to 20 mA output, IP68 ingress protection and optional intrinsic safety protection. Marine approvals from Lloyd’s Register, DNV, ABS and CCS support its use in shipbuilding and offshore applications.
