SENSVISION HLC 300 – An Equivalent to the BD Sensors LMK 306
The BD Sensors LMK 306 is a stainless steel submersible level sensor built around a ceramic sensing element, designed for hydrostatic level measurement in wells, boreholes, tanks and narrow pipework. The SENSVISION HLC 300 is a direct submersible alternative with the same 17 mm slimline probe diameter, the same ceramic sensor technology and the same 6 mH₂O to 200 mH₂O level measurement range, equivalent to a 0.6 bar to 20 bar pressure range, making it a straightforward replacement in both existing and new installations.
Both probes are suspended in the medium and measure level hydrostatically from the pressure of the liquid column above the diaphragm. The HLC 300 uses a vented suspension cable with an integrated atmospheric pressure compensation tube, so changes in barometric pressure are compensated automatically and the reading stays referenced to the true liquid level.
Like the LMK 306, the HLC 300 is built for continuous immersion. The housing is stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) with a ceramic Al₂O₃ diaphragm, FKM seals and a POM C protection cap, sealed to IP 68, and the suspension cable is available in PVC, PUR and FEP sheathing to suit the medium and the installation environment.
