SENSVISION HLC 370H – An Equivalent to the BD Sensors LMK 382 H
The BD Sensors LMK 382 H is the HART variant of the stainless steel submersible level probe. Suspended in the medium, it measures level hydrostatically using a capacitive ceramic sensing element, covering nominal ranges from 0 … 60 cmH₂O up to 0 … 200 mH₂O with an accuracy of 0.1% FSO at nominal pressures of 1 bar and above.
The SENSVISION HLC 370H is a directly equivalent HART level transmitter, with standard nominal ranges from 0 … 0.6 mH₂O up to 0 … 200 mH₂O and matching accuracy of up to ±0.1% FSO for nominal pressures of 1 bar and above, or ±0.2% FSO from 160 mbar, in both cases at turndown ratios up to 5:1.
Both probes carry the HART digital communication layer over the 4 … 20 mA loop. The analogue signal continues to drive the control system while HART runs alongside it, so the transmitter can be configured and interrogated remotely without breaking the loop or recovering the probe from the vessel. On the HLC 370H this covers electronic damping adjustable from 0 to 100 seconds, measuring offset, and span turndown of up to 10:1 for nominal pressures from 160 mbar.
Like the LMK 382 H, the HLC 370H is built for polluted and viscous media. The housing is stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) at 39.5 mm diameter with a high-purity ceramic Al₂O₃ 99.9% diaphragm, FKM, FFKM or EPDM seals and a POM C protection cap, sealed to IP 68. Overpressure resistance runs from 2 to 45 bar depending on the range selected, and cable options include PVC, PUR, FEP and TPE-U.
Whether you are replacing an installed BD Sensors LMK 382 H or specifying a remotely configurable level transmitter for a new wastewater, storage or process application, the SENSVISION HLC 370H delivers equivalent measurement performance and digital configurability as a dependable, cost-effective alternative.
