SENSVISION HLC 370 – An Equivalent to the BD Sensors LMK 382
The BD Sensors LMK 382 is a stainless steel submersible level probe with a capacitive ceramic sensing element. Lowered into the medium on a suspension cable, it measures level hydrostatically from the pressure of the liquid column above the diaphragm, covering nominal ranges from 0 … 40 cmH₂O up to 0 … 200 mH₂O at a standard accuracy of ≤ ±0.35% FSO.
The SENSVISION HLC 370 is a directly equivalent submersible probe covering the same 0.4 mH₂O to 200 mH₂O level range, corresponding to nominal pressures from 0.04 bar to 20 bar gauge, with the same ≤ ±0.35% of span standard accuracy and ≤ ±0.25% optional accuracy. It shares the ceramic measuring principle and the same output options.
Both probes are specified for the harder end of level measurement – sewage, waste, viscous and paste-like products that are difficult to measure with conventional level instruments. The ceramic diaphragm resists abrasion and aggressive media, and the 39.5 mm stainless steel body and 400 g weight are matched between the two, so the HLC 370 hangs and fits as the LMK 382 does.
The suspension cable carries the probe and its signal, and is available in PVC, PUR, FEP and TPE-U to suit the medium, temperature range and cable run. The housing is stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) with a ceramic Al₂O₃ diaphragm in 96% or optional 99.9% purity, FKM, FFKM or EPDM seals and a POM nose cone, sealed to IP 68. Optional Ex ia intrinsic safety, flange mounting and R 1″ thread preparation for stainless steel pipe installation are available.
Whether you are replacing an installed BD Sensors LMK 382 or specifying a robust submersible probe for a new wastewater, industrial tank or environmental monitoring application, the SENSVISION HLC 370 delivers equivalent measurement performance and installation compatibility as a dependable, cost-effective alternative.
