SENSVISION HLS 310D RS – An Equivalent to the BD Sensors LMP 307i RS 485
The BD Sensors LMP 307i RS 485 is the digital, serial-output version of the LMP 307i stainless steel submersible level probe. The slim stainless steel probe body is lowered into the liquid on a vented cable and measures hydrostatic pressure, but instead of a 4–20 mA or 0–10 V signal it communicates over an RS 485 bus, so level, temperature and device settings can be read and written directly by a controller or telemetry outstation.
The SENSVISION HLS 310D RS offers equivalent stainless steel submersible construction, hydrostatic measuring principle and RS 485 digital communication as the BD Sensors LMP 307i RS 485, making it an ideal replacement for both new installations and existing systems.
Like the LMP 307i RS 485, the SENSVISION HLS 310D RS is a narrow-bodied probe designed to pass down a borehole or dip tube. Its housing is 27 mm in diameter, wetted parts are stainless steel 316L with a POM protection cap, and ingress protection is IP68 for continuous submerged operation in water and compatible liquid media.
The digital electronics use a 24 bit analogue to digital converter with microprocessor-based signal processing to actively compensate sensor non-linearity and thermal effects, giving accuracy of up to ±0.1% of span according to EN IEC 62828-2, long-term stability of up to ±0.1% of span per year and 80 measurements per second. The RS 485 interface supports Modbus RTU or HART, with Modbus input registers for actual pressure and temperature and recorded maximum and minimum values, and holding registers for device address, baud rate, parity, units and damping.
