Applications For Motorsport And Autosport Pressure Sensors
The Titan Moto A-Series is used wherever accurate pressure data is needed on the vehicle or the test bed:
- Engine oil pressure – lubrication system monitoring and engine protection.
- Fuel pressure – fuel rail and supply pressure for mapping and diagnostics.
- Brake pressure – front and rear circuit pressures for brake balance and driver analysis.
- Coolant and water pressure – cooling system health and leak detection.
- Boost and manifold pressure – turbocharger and intake pressure measurement with absolute ranges.
- Dyno pressure measurement – engine and drivetrain testing on dynamometers.
- Test stand monitoring – component and sub-system validation off the vehicle.
- Automotive development – prototype and durability testing programs.
What Makes A Motorsport Pressure Sensor Different?
A race car is one of the harshest environments a sensor can face. Engine-mounted components see sustained high temperatures, constant vibration and repeated shock loads, and every gram added to the car matters. A standard industrial transmitter is rarely built with these priorities in mind.
The Titan Moto A-Series is engineered specifically for this role. Its compact body weighs just 35 g, the ceramic piezo-resistive cell resists aggressive fuels, oils and coolants, and the electronics are compensated for use at engine-bay temperatures. The 0.5-4.5 V output matches the analog inputs of most ECUs, dash loggers and data acquisition systems, and the signal stays live at both ends of the range so wiring faults are easy to spot.

Titan Moto A-Series Motorsport Pressure Sensor FAQs
Will the Titan Moto A-Series work with my ECU or data logger?
The 0.5-4.5 V output is compatible with most ECUs, dash loggers and data acquisition systems that accept a 0-5 V analog input. Choose the ratiometric version if your ECU provides a 5 V sensor supply, or the regulated version to run directly from 8 to 16 VDC vehicle power.
What is the difference between ratiometric and regulated output?
A ratiometric sensor output scales with its 5 V supply, which cancels out supply variations when the ECU uses the same reference. A regulated sensor has its own internal reference, so the 0.5-4.5 V output stays fixed when powered from a varying 8 to 16 VDC supply.
Should I choose sealed gauge or absolute?
Absolute sensors measure relative to a vacuum and are the usual choice for manifold and boost pressure. Sealed gauge sensors are referenced to a fixed atmospheric pressure and suit oil, fuel, coolant and brake pressure.
How hot can the sensor run?
The Titan Moto A-Series operates from -20 to +135 °C, making it suitable for engine-mounted and under-hood installations.
