SENSVISION DPG 200 – An Equivalent to the BD Sensors BAROLI 02
The BD Sensors BAROLI 02 is a battery-powered digital pressure gauge built around a stainless steel sensor and housing, designed for local pressure indication in plant and machine engineering, pneumatics and hydraulics, measurement and calibration technology, leak testing and environmental engineering. Like the BAROLI 02 it is a completely self-contained indicating gauge: there is no external power supply, no 4–20 mA loop and no signal wiring to install or commission.
Both instruments are designed to be read directly at the process. The BAROLI 02 uses a two-line LC display with a 4.5-digit main reading and a 6-digit secondary line, while the DPG 200 provides a 4.5-digit LC display with an 11 mm character height. Both are housed in a rotatable case, so the readout can be turned to face the operator whatever the orientation of the pressure port.
The on-device functions carry across directly. Both gauges offer a min/max memory for capturing pressure peaks between inspections, zero-point calibration so offset can be corrected on site without removing the instrument, an automatic switch-off to conserve the battery, and switchable pressure units. The BAROLI 02 is powered by two 3.6 V lithium cells giving roughly five years in standby; the DPG 200 uses two standard 1.5 V AAA batteries providing up to 1,500 hours of operation, which are considerably easier and cheaper to source and change in the field.
Both gauges are rated IP 65, use FKM as the standard seal material and share a medium temperature range of −20 to 85 °C.
