DMD 341 Differential Pressure Transmitter for Gases and Compressed Air in Compact Version

Looking for an alternative option to the BD Sensors DMD 341, we offer an equivalent called the TDP 340. Find out more.

Our alternative sensors are engineered to provide equivalent fit, form, and function while offering a more cost-effective solution. Backed by expert application support, our products help you reduce costs without compromising quality or reliability.

If you are looking for an alternative to the BD Sensors DMD 341, the SENSVISION TDP 340 is an equivalent compact differential pressure transmitter for non-aggressive gases and compressed air. It uses the same piezoresistive silicon sensor, covers the same low differential band up to 1000 mbar and matches the DMD 341 accuracy bands, giving you the same fit, form and function in a cost-effective solution for replacing the BD Sensors DMD 341.

The SENSVISION TDP 340 delivers equivalent performance without compromising quality, accuracy or reliability, with ≤ ±0.35% span accuracy above 160 mbar, 4 … 20 mA, 0 … 20 mA and 0 … 10 V output options and a compact aluminium housing, all backed by expert application support from Diversified Technologies.

SENSVISION TDP 340 – An Equivalent to the BD Sensors DMD 341

The BD Sensors DMD 341 is a compact differential pressure transmitter for non-aggressive gases and compressed air, built around a piezoresistive silicon sensor and housed in an anodised aluminium body. It covers low differential ranges from 0 … 6 mbar up to 0 … 1000 mbar with accuracy of 0.35% FSO above 160 mbar, 1% FSO between 40 and 160 mbar and 2% FSO below 40 mbar.

The SENSVISION TDP 340 uses the same piezoresistive silicon measuring principle and covers the same low differential band, with ranges from 0.6 mbar up to 1000 mbar and symmetrical ranges of ±6 mbar up to ±1000 mbar. Its accuracy bands match the DMD 341 exactly at ≤ ±0.35% span above 160 mbar, ≤ ±1% span between 40 and 160 mbar and ≤ ±2% span below 40 mbar.

Both units are true differential transmitters with separate high and low pressure ports, intended for measuring the pressure drop across filters, fans and ventilation components rather than absolute line pressure. Because they are designed for clean, non-aggressive gases, the media-wetted parts are aluminium with PUR seals and a silicon sensing element in both cases, and the TDP 340 offers overpressure capability up to 3000 mbar depending on range.

The two transmitters share the same electrical interface options: a 2-wire 4 … 20 mA output on 8 … 32 VDC, plus 3-wire 0 … 20 mA and 0 … 10 V outputs on 14 … 30 VDC. They also match on response time (< 5 ms), long-term stability, vibration resistance of 10 g RMS (20 … 2000 Hz), shock resistance of 100 g / 11 ms and permissible temperatures of -25 °C to 125 °C for the medium and -25 °C to 85 °C for the electronics.

Whether you are replacing an installed BD Sensors DMD 341 or specifying a compact low differential pressure transmitter for a new HVAC, cleanroom or compressed air application, the SENSVISION TDP 340 provides the same fit, form and function in a more cost-effective package, backed by expert application support from Diversified Technologies.
