SENSVISION PTC 350F – An Equivalent to the BD Sensors DMK 351P
The BD Sensors DMK 351P is a stainless steel pressure transmitter with a flush capacitive ceramic sensing element, developed for measuring small system pressures in the food and chemical industries. It covers nominal ranges from 0 … 40 mbar up to 0 … 20 bar and combines high overpressure capability with strong resistance to aggressive media.
The SENSVISION PTC 350F is built on the same capacitive ceramic sensor principle and covers the identical span of 40 mbar up to 20 bar. Its Al₂O₃ ceramic diaphragm is offered in 96% as standard and 99.9% as an option, matching the diaphragm choice available on the DMK 351P, and it delivers overpressure capability up to 45 bar and permissible vacuum down to -1 bar depending on the range.
Both transmitters are hygienic, front-flush instruments. The flush ceramic diaphragm sits level with the process connection so there is no dead space or crevice for product to collect in, which is what makes the design suitable for viscous and pasty media and for the cleaning regimes used in food, dairy and pharmaceutical plant. The PTC 350F matches the DMK 351P on sanitary process connections, offering G 1 1/2″ DIN flush, clamp to DIN 32676, dairy pipe to DIN 11851, Varivent® and flange to DIN 2501.
Like the DMK 351P, the PTC 350F offers a 2-wire 4 … 20 mA output as standard with a 3-wire 0 … 10 V option, and an intrinsically safe Ex ia version for gases and dusts. Accuracy is ≤ ±0.35% span as standard with a ≤ ±0.25% span option, wetted stainless steel parts are 1.4404, and the medium temperature range extends from -40 °C to 125 °C, with FKM and EPDM seal options available.
