SENSVISION PTS 320D RS – An Equivalent to the BD Sensors DMP 333i RS 485
The BD Sensors DMP 333i RS 485 is the serial-output version of the DMP 333i digital pressure transmitter. Rather than an analogue signal it communicates over an RS 485 bus, so pressure data, device parameters and configuration can be read and written by a controller, and several transmitters can share one two-wire bus in a networked high pressure installation.
The SENSVISION PTS 320D RS offers equivalent RS 485 digital communication, high pressure stainless steel sensing and configurable measurement parameters as the BD Sensors DMP 333i RS 485, making it an ideal replacement for both new installations and existing systems.
Like the DMP 333i RS 485, the SENSVISION PTS 320D RS outputs digitally over RS 485 and supports HART and Modbus RTU simultaneously, so one device can serve a HART host and a Modbus RTU master at the same time. Modbus input and holding registers provide access to measured pressure and temperature, device damping, zero point, pressure units and the communication settings themselves.
The transmitter is engineered specifically for high pressure duties, covering nominal ranges from 60 bar to 600 bar with overpressure and burst pressure ratings up to 1250 bar depending on range. A 24 bit analogue to digital converter provides active temperature compensation and linearisation, giving accuracy of 0.1% of span according to EN IEC 62828-2, and device address, baud rate from 1200 to 38400 Bd and parity are all user configurable.
