SENSVISION PTS 330 – An Equivalent to the BD Sensors DMP 334
The BD Sensors DMP 334 is an industrial pressure transmitter for high pressure hydraulic systems, built around a thinfilm sensor welded directly to the pressure port. It covers nominal ranges from 600 bar up to 2200 bar, withstands overpressure to 2800 bar and burst pressures to 6000 bar, and delivers accuracy of ±0.35% FSO.
The SENSVISION PTS 330 uses the same welded thinfilm construction and offers exactly the same nominal pressure steps of 600, 1000, 1600, 2000 and 2200 bar, with matching overpressure figures of 800 to 2800 bar and burst pressures of 3000 to 6000 bar depending on range. Accuracy is specified as ≤ ±0.35% span to EN IEC 62828-2, making it a direct performance match for the DMP 334.
Because the thinfilm element is welded to the pressure port on both instruments, there are no media-wetted seals to fail. The wetted parts of the PTS 330 are stainless steel 1.4542 (17-4 PH) for both the pressure port and the diaphragm, with a 1.4404 (316L) housing — the same material family used on the DMP 334 — giving the same resistance to pressure cycling, vibration and shock in mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits.
Both transmitters offer a standard 2-wire 4 … 20 mA output with an optional 3-wire 0 … 10 V signal, an intrinsically safe Ex ia version for gases and dusts, and offset adjustability within ±5% of the nominal range.
