SENSVISION PTS 330D – An Equivalent to the BD Sensors DMP 334i
The BD Sensors DMP 334i is the precision, digitally compensated version of the DMP 334 high pressure transmitter. It uses a thinfilm sensor welded to the pressure port, covers nominal ranges from 600 bar up to 2200 bar, and achieves 0.1% FSO accuracy because its integrated digital electronics actively correct for non-linearity and thermal error.
The SENSVISION PTS 330D is the equivalent precision variant in the PTS 330 family. It shares the same welded thinfilm construction and the same nominal pressure steps of 600, 1000, 1600, 2000 and 2200 bar, and matches the DMP 334i on accuracy at ≤ ±0.1% span according to EN IEC 62828-2, again through integrated digital compensation of sensor-specific deviations.
Both instruments are built for high pressure hydraulic test benches and precision monitoring rather than general-purpose duty. Like the DMP 334i, the PTS 330D supports turn down of up to 10:1 so a single device can be scaled to the working range, with accuracy under turn down defined as ≤ ±(0.1 + 0.015 × turn down) % span and long-term stability of ≤ ±(0.1 × turn down) % span per year.
The digital interface is the defining feature of this pair. The DMP 334i offers an optional communication interface for parameter adjustment, and the PTS 330D likewise offers an optional 4 … 20 mA output with a communication interface allowing damping, offset and span to be configured. Both provide a standard 2-wire 4 … 20 mA output on 12 … 36 VDC, welded seal-free wetted parts in stainless steel 1.4542 (17-4 PH), a 1.4404 (316L) housing, medium temperatures to 140 °C, vibration resistance of 10 g RMS and shock resistance of 100 g / 11 ms.
Whether you are replacing an installed BD Sensors DMP 334i or specifying a precision high pressure transmitter for a new test bench or calibration system, the SENSVISION PTS 330D provides the same fit, form and function in a more cost-effective package, backed by expert application support from Diversified Technologies.
