SENSVISION EPS 200 – An Equivalent to the BD Sensors DS 200
The BD Sensors DS 200 is an electronic pressure switch with a stainless steel sensing element, a rotatable four-digit LED display and configurable PNP switching contacts. It covers nominal ranges from 0 … 100 mbar up to 0 … 600 bar and is used wherever a pressure limit has to trigger a pump, valve or alarm rather than simply be transmitted.
The SENSVISION EPS 200 is a multi-functional electronic pressure switch covering the identical 100 mbar to 600 bar nominal span, again built on a stainless steel sensor with a four-digit LED display in a rotatable housing. Like the DS 200 it provides one or two independent PNP switching contacts, so single-setpoint and dual-setpoint control schemes can both be replicated.
Set points, reset points and switching logic are configured directly on the device using the integrated push buttons on the EPS 200, giving the same on-site control over switch point, hysteresis and damping that the DS 200 offers through its display module. The rotatable housing and display mean the readout can be aligned for legibility whatever the orientation of the process connection.
Both devices can also deliver a continuous analogue signal alongside their switching outputs: the EPS 200 offers an optional 2-wire 4 … 20 mA or 3-wire 0 … 10 V output on a 12 … 36 VDC supply, matching the analogue options on the DS 200. Wetted materials also correspond, with a stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) pressure port and a 1.4435 (316L) diaphragm, FKM seals as standard with EPDM and NBR alternatives, medium temperatures from -40 °C to 125 °C, and IP 65 or IP 67 protection depending on the electrical connection chosen.
