SENSVISION EPS 210 – An Equivalent to the BD Sensors DS 210
The BD Sensors DS 210 is an electronic pressure switch for low overpressure and vacuum in gases, compressed air and thin non-aggressive media. It uses a sensor without media isolation, covers nominal ranges from 0 … 10 mbar up to 0 … 1000 mbar plus a -1000 … 0 mbar vacuum range, and drives one, two or four independently configurable PNP contacts alongside a rotatable four-digit LED display.
The SENSVISION EPS 210 is the corresponding electronic pressure switch in the SENSVISION range, built on a stainless steel sensing element with the same four-digit LED display in a rotatable housing and the same principle of independent PNP switching contacts with an optional analogue output for continuous feedback.
Please confirm the pressure range before ordering. The published nominal range of the SENSVISION EPS 210 starts at 100 mbar and extends to 600 bar, so it covers the upper part of the DS 210 band from 100 mbar to 1000 mbar. The DS 210 ranges below 100 mbar and its dedicated -1000 … 0 mbar vacuum range are not listed on the EPS 210 specification, so for very low pressure or vacuum duties our engineers will confirm the correct SENSVISION part for your application.
Where the range does suit, the two switches align closely on function. Switching points, hysteresis and switching logic are configured directly on the EPS 210 using its integrated push buttons, so a replacement unit can be commissioned to the same thresholds as the DS 210 it succeeds. Accuracy is 0.5% span as standard to EN IEC 62828-2 with 0.35% and 0.25% span options, and an optional 4 … 20 mA (2-wire) or 0 … 10 V (3-wire) analogue output is available on a 12 … 36 VDC supply, matching the analogue options offered on the DS 210.
