PTC 400 Marine And Offshore Pressure Transmitter

The SENSVISION PTC 400 has been specifically developed for demanding shipbuilding and offshore environments where reliability, corrosion resistance, and certification compliance are critical. Covering nominal pressure ranges from 0.400 bar up to 600 bar, this marine pressure transmitter delivers accuracy according to EN IEC 62828-2 of ≤ ± 0.5% span and supports both gauge and absolute pressure measurement. Level measurement ranges in mH₂O are also available for hydrostatic applications such as ballast tank monitoring.

Equipped with a ceramic Al₂O₃ diaphragm, the SENSVISION PTC 400 provides excellent long term stability and resistance to harsh media. For seawater applications, an optional copper nickel alloy pressure port and housing in CuNi10Fe1Mn are available, offering strong resistance against saltwater corrosion. The transmitter is approved by major marine classification societies including Lloyd’s Register, DNV, ABS, and CCS, making it suitable for certified marine installations. An intrinsically safe Ex ia version is available for hazardous areas.
