Applications For Custom OEM Pressure Sensors
The SCPS is aimed at equipment builders who need a small pressure sensor matched to their product:
- OEM installations – a compact sensor integrated into production equipment.
- Pneumatic testing – leak detection and pressure verification on air and gas systems.
- Pressure surge detection – capturing fast spikes and transients.
- Data loggers – low-power pressure sensing for battery-operated logging.
- Water supply monitoring – pressure logging on water networks and fittings.
- Seal performance monitoring – tracking pressure behind seals and in test fixtures.
A Pressure Sensor Tailored To Your Equipment
Standard pressure transmitters are designed to suit as many installations as possible, which often means features, connectors and housings an OEM product does not need. The SCPS takes the opposite approach. It starts with a proven ceramic sensing element and a compact housing, then adapts the pressure port, electrical connection and output to the equipment it will be built into.
The Series 21 quick-release fitting lets the sensor snap onto a matching coupling without tools, which is useful for portable test equipment and loggers that are fitted and removed regularly. Where a fixed installation is preferred, a threaded port can be supplied instead. Talk to our team about quantities, connectors and any special requirements.

SCPS Custom Pressure Sensor FAQs
What can be customized on the SCPS?
The pressure port, electrical connection, output type and pressure range can all be adapted to suit your equipment. Contact our team with your requirements.
What is a Series 21 quick-release fitting?
It is a push-fit coupling that lets the sensor connect to a matching socket without tools, which is convenient for portable test equipment and data loggers.
Which output uses the least power?
The passive mV/V output draws the least current and is the best choice for battery-powered equipment.
What is the difference between the SCPS and the SCPT?
The SCPS is the more compact design, with ranges to 100 bar, a quick-release port option and digital outputs. The SCPT covers ranges up to 400 bar with a choice of housing materials and threads.
