Applications For OEM Temperature Transmitters
The Titan TTT gives equipment builders a temperature sensor that can be matched closely to their design:
- OEM machinery and equipment – a compact, repeatable sensor for volume production.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems – oil, coolant and air temperature monitoring.
- HVAC and refrigeration – temperature feedback in climate control and chiller systems.
- Industrial process monitoring – temperature measurement in pipework, tanks and manifolds.
- Automotive component testing – coolant, oil and fluid temperature on test rigs.
- Medical device prototyping – temperature feedback in fluid and thermal management systems.
- Data loggers – low-voltage analog or digital outputs for battery-powered logging.
- Laboratory and academic research – flexible sensing for experiments and test programs.
Choosing The Right Temperature Sensor Type
The best sensing element depends on the temperature range, accuracy and electronics in your system:
- PT100 and PT1000 RTDs – platinum resistance thermometers offering excellent accuracy, stability and interchangeability. PT1000 gives a larger signal and is less affected by lead resistance.
- NTC thermistors – high sensitivity over a narrower range, popular for cost-effective temperature feedback in electronics and HVAC.
- PTC thermistors – resistance rises with temperature, often used for protection and switching functions.
- Thermocouples – simple and robust, with a fast response from a small sensing junction.
Our engineers can help you choose the sensor type and output that best fit your application.

Titan TTT OEM Temperature Transmitter FAQs
Which sensor types can the Titan TTT use?
The TTT can be supplied with a PT100 or PT1000 resistance thermometer, an NTC or PTC thermistor, or a thermocouple.
What is the difference between the TTT and the TTTa?
The TTT is a compact OEM design with an M14 x 1.5 thread, a wide choice of sensor types and 0.5-4.5 V, digital or direct sensor outputs up to +150 °C. The TTTa uses a PT100 or PT1000 sensor with industrial outputs such as 4-20 mA and 0-10 V, G1/4 or 1/4 NPT threads and a choice of probe lengths.
Can the probe length and thread be customized?
Yes. The standard probe is 5 mm in diameter and 13 mm long with an M14 x 1.5 thread, but probe length and process connection can be tailored for OEM projects.
What temperature range does the TTT cover?
The TTT measures from -25 to +150 °C, with a permissible ambient temperature of -20 to +125 °C.
